student can understand stories being told by a fluent speaker using colloquial language, and the intended double
meaning of a word used in a joke. They can recognise a wide range of idiomatic expressions and colloquialisms,
appreciating register shifts. They can follow films employing a considerable degree of slang and idiomatic usage.
