You are provided with a fresh egg, a 250ml beaker, salt and water.

(a) Add just enough to a beaker and immerse an egg completely into water.
(i) Draw a diagram for this arrangement

(ii)write your observations

(b) Remove the egg from water and add salt to the water in the beaker. Stir the water
carefully, until no more salt dissolves. Finally try to immerse an egg and draw a
