The concept of this recovery plan is derived from a colloquial
concept of binnadang. “BABBADANG” USUALLY TERMED BY THE
Ykalinga for voluntary help.
This envision that the division personnel, the whole community, and
other stakeholders’ line-up or walk towards one direction to recover the
required and needed competencies and skills of each learner’s
prerequisite to learn the standards within their grade level regardless of
their status and condition within three years of ACCELERATION.

SMART GOALS
The ultimate goal of this Learning Recovery Program (LRP) is to address the learning gaps through the
conduct of the Babbadang for Learning Recovery in all its phases. Specifically, this aims to:
a. For Literacy:
● Increase the reading level of all learners in Filipino in all key stages from 6.5% or 591 frustration to
100% independent readers within three years.
● Increase the reading level of all learners in English in all key stages from 17% or (1236) frustration to
100% independent readers within three years.

b. For Numeracy:
● Increase numeracy level of all learners in all key stages to 100% numerates within three years.

c. For Academic Performance


● Increase MPS in all learning areas in all key stages from 66.28% to 75% to 85 % within three years of
the program implementation
Babbadang For
Learning Recovery
• PHASE I – Babbadang will open on July 17, 2023 as it
implements Phase 1 to REACH every child.
• This is premised on the belief that happy and confident
learners have what is known as growth mindset.
• There will be game-based, collaborative, team-based
and socially oriented activities with embedded academic
contents that will bridge the end of school year activities
SY 2022-2023 and beginning of school year activities
SY 2023-2024.
