Connection Between Health and Lifestyle

During our lives, we opt to have different lifestyles that can be good or bad for our mental and
physical health. The lifestyle habits of a healthy person and an unhealthy person are very
different. Usually, knowledge and education play a major factor between lifestyle and health.
Government has an obligation to research and inspect all food products before reaching
consumers.

When comparing a healthy lifestyle with an unhealthy lifestyle, seemingly a person who is more
health-oriented would regularly eat fresh food and avoid sugar, as well as incorporate exercise
routines, and techniques, such as meditation. A healthy lifestyle is commonly associated with the
level of education a person has. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is not easy but it helps to decrease
the chances of developing illnesses and supports mental well-being.

On the other hand, a person with an unhealthy lifestyle is most likely to consume processed food
more often and practice a sedentary lifestyle along with stress. They lead to different issues
including obesity, cardiovascular disease, and depression to just mention a few consequences.
Usually, an unhealthy lifestyle is associated with poverty and a lower level of education.
Nowadays, the high cost of living makes many lower-income people work more hours and as a
result, depend on premade processed food because of its convenience and lower price.

The government is responsible for the consumer’s well-being, both physically and mentally. It
also has the responsibility to create awareness of healthy lifestyles to avoid excess government
health spending.
