TSG Technical Audit teams also visit the sites to

and equipment. In addition to this DM (Safety)
provided assistance to the Grid and T/L staff
regarding Health Satefy and Environment. In near
future more site tours will be arranged.

3 Asset Integrity Management N/A

During the visit of Deputy Manager (Safety) NTDC


Quetta, it reveals that there is huge shortage of T&P
4 PPE & T&P at every Grid Station However, Personal Protective
Equipments (PPE) are available at all Grid Stations.
List of PPE & T&P attached as Annex-A.

Electrical and Mechanical isolations system is being


implemented thoroughly as it is vital for safety of the
workers. PTW is issued/cancelled after confirmation

completely isolated and ready to perform
work.Temporary Ground and PPE is used while
working on equipment.
A well defined WAPDA’s Permit to Work system is
implemented in NTDC. Permit to work (PTW) is
issued by control room operator with the approval
from NPCC /RCC as per approved format which
shows nature of work, start & end timings ,
signatures of issuer and receiver. Only authorized
Permit to Work
6 persons i.e SSO-I are allowed to issue permit and
Test Inspectors /Foremans / LS-I are allowed to take
permit for annual maintenance /Emergent shut
situations in the presence of Assistant
manager/Deputy Manager following all the SOPs.

Department have visited Grid Stations under GM
HSE Audit
AM South Office. The Audit conducted by these two

department are properly reported and compliance of
the same is submitted to track progress pertaining to
recommendations.

No such emission of haramful chemical/gases which

possible time and subsequently investigated on top
Incident Reporting and Investigation priority. The finding/recommendations of

Investigation Reports are circulated to all offices
with strict instruction for implemention of
recommendations to avoid any mishaps in future.
