• Agile emphasizes collaboration and putting the customer Rian Chapman

• The Agile Manifesto defines four pillars: individuals over

processes and tools, working software over comprehensive
documentation, customer collaboration over contract
negotiation, and responding to change over following a
plan.

• Agile principles include satisfying customers through early

and continuous improvement, welcoming changing
requirements, delivering value frequently, breaking silos,
building motivated teams, prioritizing face-to-face
communication, measuring progress by working software,
maintaining a sustainable pace, pursuing continuous
excellence, embracing simplicity, valuing self-organizing
teams, and regularly reflecting and adjusting.

• Agile is good because it is adaptable, fosters collaborative

teamwork, and focuses on customer needs.

• It's important to choose a methodology agreed upon by

consensus and stick to it to maintain momentum.

• Agile ways of working bring people, processes,

connectivity, and technology together to find the most
effective way of working.

• The key themes in agile ways of working are cross-
