Asynchronous Activity for Grade 8

The call for unity is needed now more than ever. As we hurdle
our way through COVID 19 to experience our usual life, we embrace
the “New Normal”. The struggle brought about by the extreme
changes, challenged us beyond our limits.
Many have lost hope but much more
have remained fearless for we know we are
not alone.
The United Nations has been championing
the peoples of the world
since its foundation 77
years ago. There is no
other global organization
with the legitimacy,
convening power and
normative impact as the
United Nations. No other global organization gives hope to so many
people for a better world and can deliver the future we want.
Today’s Asynchronous Activity is our way of continuously
upholding the purpose and principles this organization stands for. As
the Josephian community celebrates the milestone of surviving the
pandemic, enjoin us in expressing the different themes of the UN by
poster-making.
Themes to choose from:
GRADE 7 -GRADE 10

1. “International Year of Sustainable


Mountain Development”
2. “Now and Beyond – Shaping Our
Future Together”
3. “ Karapatang Pantao: Igalang,
Ipatupad at Isaalang-alang”
Mechanics:
1. The Josephian Learner together with 1 member of his family will choose
a theme found in his grade category.
2. With the use of any coloring material, they will make a poster regarding
their chosen theme on a one fourth illustration board.
3. Write the theme on the upper right hand corner then sign your name
and your relative’s on the poster.
4. Bring the finished product on Thursday, Nov. 3.
5. Grade credit is for Performance Task for Arts and Araling Panlipunan.

Materials:
1. One fourth illustration board
2. Craypas, crayons, watercolor , poster paint, colored pencil, any coloring
materials
3. Pencils

As a community, let us continue to observe peace and unity. Let us fight


poverty through education and support the Sustainable Goals. Let us care for
our only planet. In the light of a renewed beginning, never cease to rekindle
the flame for HOPE.
