LSRB -352 project on Development of wearable kinesiological
system for upper limb movement analysis during different
lifting tasks using existing motion capture system funded by DRDO, India.
CARS – DEBEL project for Development of computational model
of Ankle joint using EMG.

Mr. Anjana Reddy, you are 61 years old and living with a spinal cord
injury for the past 35 years in a village Rajaram Pali in Telangana.

Please share your personal innovative experiences for going about


outdoors, for your business, temple visits or social functions.
Dr Prashanth Chalageri, what are the independent living skills you train
PwSCI & their caregivers especially those living in villages?

Kindly throw light on the two new projects you are working on and how
the innovations will impact PwSCI:

1. PTC-124 GD 041 Ataluren in DMD trial


2. LSRB -352 project on Development of wearable kinesiological system
for upper limb movement analysis during different lifting tasks using
existing motion capture system funded by DRDO, India

CMC Vellore has innovated a low cost cushion which prevents bed sores
and most SCIs rehabilitated there do not use diapers, please share
more such rehabilitation innovations to improve QoL.?
MEDICAL NEEDS of an INDIVIDUAL
Shishir Bhatnagar, living with quadriplegia entails requirements of
several medical supplies and share your own innovations or of
those you have learnt of as a senior peer mentor?

Unavailability of specific brands of silicone catheters, urobags,


medicines etc and any experiences with the generic drugs etc?

80% of Indians with SCI cannot afford the medical supplies of living
with SCI through their lifetime, what innovations can you share
which can give them a dignified good quality of life.
FINDING MEANING IN LIFE AFTER A SCI
Ketna, please share your Nina Foundation experiences of innovative
solutions to make life meaningful & zestful post a spinal cord injury
Dr Shanu, as a clinical psychologist what are the coping strategies you
recommend as spinal cord injury causes more trauma with divorces,
separations, sexual life etc.

For women & girls in Indian context, are there any resources to seek
psychological help for example for removal of uterus for quadriplegic
women as family members find it difficult to manage them

Komal, will you throw light on the role and activities of The Spinal
Foundation in reaching out to each and every person with spinal cord
injury

reaches out to PwSCI in each and every district of Karnataka and help
