From the summary of your Peer and Self-Assessments, write a reflective statement on your performance.
The reflective statement should include identification of a few distinguishing facts from your composition, then an outline of
those facts, that leads into detailed account of your overall performance, that result in a conclusion on your ability to
perform your melody composition, and, lastly, an identification of your strengths and weaknesses that lead you to a a
discussion of how well you think you did overall on the composition.
Summarize the outcome of your Self-Assessment
I think I did well on my performance, where I put in all the melodic techniques, playing the note correctly in my music performance. One of the parts that I did
well is playing the note, I played the correct note most of the time with the right speed and doesn’t stop much when I played the wrong note in my
performance. On my music piece, I used all 8 of the techniques that Mr. Nick gave me and created a whole music piece on my own. The thing I need to
improve on next time is memorize my note for the whole performance, so I won’t be able to look at the music piece while I’m playing so it make me look more
confident, also I can choose another instrument such as guitar or something to make it more challenging for myself and help me improve on other instrument
so I can able and cable to play it in the future.
Statement: I did well from the originally part where I created my own music piece until I play the perform it to the other. To improve on next time I need to
play on a harder and new instrument, also doesn’t look at the music piece much while playing next time.
