PUNJAB UNIVERSITY ADMISSION TEST FOR

UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS

GUIDELINES FOR APPLICANTS

1. Every applicant has to be registered through the online portal for Punjab University

Admission Test.

2. Download your Roll No. Slip through the link available on Admission Test Portal.

3. Carry your Roll No. Slip, attested copy of Matric/SSC Certificate and proof of payment

with you to the center for verification.

4. Admission test will consist of the following Five Components:

5. Punjab University Admission Test will be of the following categories:

6. Verbal reasoning will consist of FA/F.Sc/HSSC Level English. This section will be based

on the concepts consisting of 4 questions each from Analogy, Synonyms, Antonyms,

Sentence Completion, Comprehension.

7. Quantitative reasoning will consist of Matric/SSC Level Mathematics. This section will be

based on the concepts consisting of 4 questions each from Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry,

Equations, Scenario based mental Mathematics.

8. The questions will be based the list of concepts given in the Text Books published by

Punjab Text Book Board.

9. The question paper will consist of 100 questions.

10. The time duration for test will be 120 minutes.

11. Test will consist of Multiple-Choice Questions.

12. Each question, will consist of four options (A, B, C, D) with only one correct answer.

13. Test category, paper Code and Roll No. are to be filled in bubbles on the Answer/Bubble

Sheet.

14. There will be no negative marking.

15. Calculator and other electronic devices are not allowed.

16. Rough work may be done on the question paper but NOT on the Answer/Bubble Sheet.

17. Correct answers are to be filled on the Answer/Bubble Sheet.

18. Use a black ballpoint for filling in the Answer/Bubble Sheet. Lead pencils and ink pens

are not allowed.

19. Double/multiple attempts and cutting on the answer/bubble sheet will not be accepted.

20. Returning of question paper along with Answer/Bubble Sheet to the invigilating staff at

the center is mandatory.


Guidelines to Fill Bubble/Answer Sheet

1. Every applicant will receive Bubble Sheet with the following similar format along with the
question paper.
2. Write your Full Name, CNIC / Form-B Number and City Name from where you are
appearing for PU Admission Test.

3. Write Paper Code and Roll Number in digits as well as fill the respective bubbles and also
fill the bubble of Test Category. All entities would be mandatory to fill.

a. Test Category (Short form of test category would be written on question paper)
b. Paper Code (2-digit code will be written on question paper and you will write your
Paper Code in digits in the blank boxes as well as fill the respective bubbles)
c. Roll No. (6-digit unique roll number will be issued to all applicants and you will
write your Roll Number in digits in blank boxes as well as fill the respective bubbles)

4. At the time of submission, your Answer / Bubble Sheet would be like the following format.
Your answer sheet would NOT be joined by staple pin with the question paper.
