LIFE MAKES

YOU
STRONGER

Bryan Samuel Chávez Cameros

I was born on February 26, 2007 at Roosevelt Hospital in
Guatemala City and weighed 7 1/2 pounds. My mom says that
when she was in her womb I ran out of amniotic fluid, but thank
God I was able to endure those days and thus be able to be born.

When I was a kid I really liked to watch TV, but at that time we
didn't have cable, so on the weekends I would go to my aunt's
house first thing in the morning just to watch TV and visit my
cousins, when I had they were like six in the morning at home and
my cousins never got up at that time, but when they heard a
knock on the door they already knew it was me, I have always
been painful, before knocking on the door I would sit outside for
about 10 minutes thinking whether to knock or no but I always
ended knocking, my aunt always gave me breakfast and made me
eat beans (at that time I didn't like them) and I ate them just to
watch TV. That for me is one of my most precious memories.

The most beautiful memories of my childhood are the ones I

spent with my niece, we did so many crazy and fun things with
her, she is my friend and like my sister, without her I would not
have been able to enjoy my childhood so much. a lot.

One of the greatest experiences of my life was at the beginning of

the pandemic, I learned that despite the difficulties and falls, you
should never give up and always keep fighting.
Another great experience was when my dad took me to sell for
the first time when I was 10 years old, I remember when he put
me in charge of his towel selling business, at first I was afraid and
ashamed, but today I thank my dad. . . and mom for teaching me
the art of working and being able to survive if they ever leave.
