LETTER OF APPROVAL OFFER AND CONDITIONS TO OBTAIN THE FACILITIES OF THE
ENTREPRENEUR CERTIFICATION PROGRAM – BUSINESS ENRICHMENT,
STANDARDIZATION AND TRANSFORMATION (BEST) MARA: IS0 2200:2018 FOOD
SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM CERTIFICATION.

2. Pleased to be informed that MARA has approved your company's application to obtain the
facility of the entrepreneur certification program – Business Enrichment, standardization And
Transformation (BEST) MARA : ISO 2200:2018 Food Safety Management System Certification
and subject to the following conditions:

(i) Clarifying service payments made through Money Order / Bank Draft / MARAeps in
the name of the MAJLIS AMANAH RAKYAT

(ii) Allowing the facilitator/consultant to enter the factory or the area without any
restrictions for the purpose of conducting studies, investigations or any work that
should be carried out by a consultant for this project.

(iii) Cooperate with the facilitator/consultant to get information and give full time for
discussion when needed by the facilitator/consultant. Any advisory work will not be
successful without cooperation and understanding from both parties.

(iv) MARA will terminate this advisory service if it is deemed that the advisory service
process is not going well. MARA will give 30 days' notice to terminate this advisory
service

(v) MARA will not be held responsible in the event of any accident, loss or damage that
occurs in carrying out this advisory service.
 (vi) Expert fees and other expenses incurred by the facilitator/consultant in carrying out
this advisory service will be borne by MARA and subject to the terms and conditions
that have been set

(vii) Entrepreneurs/entrepreneurs need to agree not only with the proposals that will be
presented by the facilitator/consultant to overcome the problems of the project, but
also be prepared to fund any expenses that will be involved (except for the specialist
fees mentioned) either with self-financing or even from capital assistance by any
party and so on. MARA will continue to give guidance in this matter.

3) For the smoothness of the advisory work that will be carried out, we need to get a suitable date
and time for the facilitation/consultant to make an appointment and visit your factory/premises.
Therefore, you need to ensure your presence at the factory on the date and time that has been set.
4) As an information sir/ma'am, herewith is enclosed the Letter of Acceptance for approval to
get the BEST MARA program. If you agree with the conditions of the offer, please fill out and
return the acceptance letter to MARA within 14 days from the date of this letter.
5) To ensure that the services provided under the BEST Program are always at a satisfactory
Business Enrichment, Standardization and Transformation (BEST) and 'Employment
Verification Form' and return it to MARA no later than two (2) weeks after the services provided
are completed.
