Freedom of speech is one of the fundamental rights encased in the constitutions of all the

democratic countries of the world. It is considered the most important article in the modern state,
and it lies down to the foundation of free, vibrant and democratic society.

However, in the recent events this precious right has been violated by both the media and the
general public, they can do whatever they want.

Nowadays there are plenty of hate speeches, anti- social campaigns run by the press and fights
conducted to degrade or attack a person’s self- worth or insecurities. All of these violate our
constitution and create problems, hatred movements in our country.

As India is a diverse country abusing our freedom of speech hurts the feelings of many of our fellow
countrymen.

Freedom of speech is a right and all of us know that we must respect our rights. So, lets respect our
freedom of speech for a stronger and better India.
