SULZERTEX7/L. G 6200. Adjustment instructions Warp beam MB + 366 mm Warp beam tube The warp beam tube has a length of machine width + 366 mmm, Position of the warp beam flanges on the tube The warp beam flanges must be positioned on the tube corresronding to the drawing-in width’ in the reed Symmetrical reed draft First adjust the flange on the left hand side, Its posi- tion can be determined as follows: Dim.a 2 Drawing-in width ~ Example: Machine width (machine type plate) = 190 cm Drawing-in width in reed = 174.8 cm, hence: 900 - 1748 = 182: 2 = 76 + 183 = 259 mm This means that both warp beam flanges must be po- sitioned 25.9 cm from the end of the tube. The distance of the right hand warp beam flange cor- responds to the drawing-in width in the reed (less auxiliary selvedges) In the above example, the distance between the warp beam flanges is 174.8 cm. Asymmetrical reed draft With an asymmetrical reed draft the left hand warp beam flange should be fitted 183 mm from the end of, the tube. The distance between the two warp beam, flanges should correspond to the drawing-in width in the reed. 6200 © 30.10.92 223.1R Page 1 SULZERTEX7/L. ‘Adapter Suppor ring ‘alapter Bearing shell Hinge Driver wedge Bearing cover 5 Eyebor < Inserting the warp beam Fit the two adapters to the warp beam tube outside the machine, Adapter 1 (with 6 grooves) is screw mounted on the drive side, ‘Support ring 2 is screw mounted on the other side. Turn the warp let-off motor until ower bearing shell 3 is in bottom position, which corresponds to the warp beam change positicn (25 to 30°) and at the same to the position of the left hand bearing shel. Insert the warp beam into the weaving machine in such a way that adapter 1 enters approx. 60 mm into bearing shell 3. On the opposite side, close bearing cover § and se- cure it with eye bolt 6 On the drive side, close hinge 7, at the same time tur- ing the warp beam so that driver wedge 8 can en- gage in one of the grooves in adapter 1 Slightly tighten hinge 7. Then tighten screw 9 to clamp driver wedge 8 firmly in the groove, so as to position the warp bem, Tighten hinge 7. Also tighten screw 9. 223.1R Page 2 6200 © 30.10.92 G 6200____
