What to do:
1 With a grown-up’s help,
cut out the template of
a hedgehog, opposite.
2 Using the glue, stick on the
eye and the fuzzy nose.
3 Next, decorate the hedgehog’s
body by gluing on the leaves.
Mix up shapes and colors but
stick the leaves on so they go
in the same direction. All done,
good work!

STORYWITH
THE LOST CAT
One day Blippi went for a walk. It was a cold day
but the sun was shining. The leaves under
Blippi’s feet were crunchy and crisp. He
jumped up and down on a pile, then kicked
his foot so that leaves flew up in the air.
‘Woooahhhh, that’s cool.’ thought Blippi.

Suddenly, Blippi saw a little boy

looking very sad. ‘Hello’ said Blippi,
‘Are you OK?’ There was a lady with
the little boy who said, ‘We’ve lost our cat.’ With a sniff the
little boy added, ‘She didn’t come back for her breakfast this
morning and we can’t find her.’

Now Blippi knows that cats like to go out at night. They race
around and have adventures then they sleep all day. ‘Cats
are so funny’ thought Blippi.

‘I can help you look for her.’ Blippi said. ‘What does she look like?’
The little boy looked up at Blippi. ‘She’s very small, and has orange, stripy fur
and a white patch on her head.’ The lady, who was the boy’s mum looked
very worried, and said, ‘Thank you, she’s called Fluffy.’

Blippi and his new friends looked up

the road, they looked down the road
and they even knocked on some doors 23 25
nearby to see if anyone had seen the
cat. Blippi discovered that she liked to
go for a treat at number 25, and she
always got a cuddle and strokes from
the lady at number 10 - but no one had
seen Fluffy. ‘Why don’t we try the park?’
asked Blippi?
 The park was full of children
playing in the leaves like Blippi
had, dogs chasing other dogs,
people walking and chatting,
but there was no sign of the
lost cat.

They all looked everywhere.

The park had a path all the
way round the edge, so they walked alo
ng it, looking in
the bushes and under the trees.

Suddenly, a dog bounced over. ‘I’d love

to play with you,’ said Blippi, ‘but I’m
so busy, sorry!’ The dog dived in the bush
, and as he went in there was a
big shriek and out shot a cat, the lost ca
t!

The little boy picked up Fluffy and gave he

r a big hug.
‘Hooray’ exclaimed Blippi. ‘Thank you for
all your help
Blippi,’ they both said.

‘Anytime!’ said Blippi and with

that he gave the very cute,
small cat with orange,
stripy fur and a white patch
on her head a stroke then
headed off home kicking
the leaves high in the air
as he went.
