Malala Yousafzai is a Pakistani activist, United Nations
Messenger of Peace, and the youngest person to receive the
Nobel Peace Prize. In 2011, the Taliban regime banned education for women. Malala, in disagreement, gave several interviews about what happened. Due to her activism for women's education, she suffered an attack on October 9, 2012, when she was 15 years old. After this event, the world learned about Malala's story and courage, positioning her as one of the most influential women in the world. In 2013, she went to the UN to call for access to education around the world. She won the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize for her fight for the rights of young people, children and women. One of her most famous phrases is “A child, a teacher, a book and a pen can change the world. Education is the only solution”
