When you enter the Consular Section at the U.S. Embassy, please go to Window 1 to check
in.
Please note that:

The time on the appointment letter is the time to arrive at the Embassy gate. It is not
the time for your interview with the consular officer. 
If you arrive at the Embassy with an electronic device other than a cell phone and a
key fob, you will be TURNED AWAY.  The Embassy CANNOT store bags, backpacks,
or tablet/computer equipment.
You will NOT be permitted to carry your cell phone or key fob into the U.S. Embassy.  
As a courtesy, the Embassy guards can store your phone and key fob during your
interview.

Any oversize handbags and travel bags, large backpacks, briefcases, or suitcases.
Applicants can only carry in clear bags containing papers needed for their appointment;
Any food items;
Sealed envelopes or packages;
Cigarettes / cigars / match boxes / lighters/ e-cigarettes/ vaping devices;
Any sharp objects such as scissors, pen knives or nail files;
Weapons or explosive materials of any kind.
