We are looking for a passionate Software Developer to join our client team. Our client is an integrated
suite of software solutions developed by ECM Ltd to manage the end-to-end cash cycle.

Projects: ECM™ ISA, ECM™ Imperium, ECM™ Centralized Control

Activities:
• Always acting and behaving in a way compliant with all CPS company guidelines and policies,
especially those relating to values and behaviors, environmental health and safety, ethics and
codes of conduct, as it is through living our values that we strengthen the culture of our business
• Delivering tasks on-time and to specification with an appropriate level of quality
• Designing and developing functionality for the CPS ECM suite of software products
• Ensuring full participation in the performance management process and maintaining an up to date
record of all training and development activities/programs
• Investigating, analyzing and resolving problems in ECM modules developed by you or others
• Keeping up to date with all information security training and following that guidance to help
maintain CPS’s security
• Liaising with business consultancy, implementation, support and other development team
members to improve processes, to determine innovative solutions and assist with any issues
related to development work carried out
• Maintaining accurate timesheets and providing regular forecast effort to completion on
development tasks
• Taking a proactive role in continual service improvement, providing constructive feedback and
proposing solutions
• Volunteering to be part of initiatives to implement change to improve
• Taking part in backlog refinements to provide accurate task estimation ranges and then quotes
for development
• Translating functional requirements into robust software designs based on ECM design patterns
and standards
• Understanding complex functional specifications and where appropriate challenge and refine
them
• Working as a team, sharing best practice and collaborating with colleagues outside of own sphere
of business

Essential:
• Very strong C# programming skills within Visual Studio.
• Proven experience with relational databases with MS SQL- stored procedures and views.
• Experienced working with and implementing object orientation and defined design patterns.
• Excellent ASP.NET MVC skills, with JavaScript and JQuery
• Experience of working within service orientated architectures (i.e. SOAP).
• High level of English skills, both verbal, reading and writing at a technical level.

Desirable:
• .Net Zero
• ASP.NET Core
• Creating unit tests in Visual Studio
• Experience of finance industry
• Experience of Jira or similar workflow management tools
• Experience running and installing MS SQL Server and Oracle databases
• Frontend frameworks (including Angular, Vue.js, React)
• Kendo UI
• Knowledge or experience of Agile and in particular Scrum development methods.
• No SQL databases (e.g. MongoDB, ElasticSearch)
• Rabbit MQ
• Relational database with Oracle - stored procedures and views.
• Service orientated architectures (REST)
• Software engineering degree
• SSIS and SSRS
• Use of VMware
• Using IIS
• Working in Azure DevOps, including Git and version control in Git
• XML, HTML, SOAP
