• During the cleaning or inspection, make sure to cut off the power to the product.

Installation
• Install the air conditioner onto a sturdy place where it can sustain the weight.
- Improper location may cause the air conditioner to fall and get damaged.
• Check the rated power.
- It causes fire or product failure.

• If Wire Type connector is used, check the pin arrangements in the expansion connector before
wiring.
- If the wiring is incorrect, it may cause product damage or malfunction.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Do not install the unit in potentially explosive atmospheres.

Operation
• Do not clean with strong solvent detergents, but use soft cloth.
- It causes fire or product deformation.
• The maximum voltage that can be switched through Digital Output is 30 V DC, 30 V AC, and
the maximum current is 2 A.
- Going outside the corresponding range will cause product damage.

‘Expansion module connection port’ is only activated in Expansion module supporting model

when it is originally shipped out. To use the port, use tools such as driver to remove port
cover, then it can be used by connecting the connector.

How to install DDC
You can use the following 2 methods to fix the DDC on the wall.

Fixing DDC on the wall

DDC can be installed by fixing it on a wall.
• Decide the space to install DDC.
- Check if it is a adequate place to connect the cables including DDC, power, external
connection cable, LAN, etc.
• Fix DDC on the wall using driver.
• You can fix it as in the following figure according to the location of installation.

! CAUTION
• Screw Spec.: Screw head height - 1.75 ~ 2.00 mm
Screw head diameter - 5.50 ~ 7.05 mm

Installing DDC on DIN Rail

DDC can be installed on the DIN Rail of width 35 mm and height 7.5 mm.
To install DDC at an adequate place, proceed as the following instructions.

• Decide the space to install DDC.
• Check if it is an adequate place to connect the cables including DDC, power, external
connection cable, LAN, etc. before installing DDC.
• Install DIN Rail.
• Hang top part of DDC on DIN Rail.
• Push main unit of DDC to hear the setting sound.
• Pull DDC to check if it fixed.

! CAUTION
• After installing on DIN Rail, do not fix on the wall using screws.
DDC may be damaged.

• After completing the product installation, it shall be fixed with DIN Rail stopper.

Turing on the power
To use DDC, turn on DDC power.

When you turn on the power switch, the following DDC booting screen is displayed on LCD, and
when booting is completed, DDC initial screen is displayed.

manufacture date of DDC, and the corresponding version
number can be changed after software upgrade.

Using the buttons

You can use LCD and buttons on the front side of DDC to set DDC initial setting values.
There are total of 6 buttons, and you can press ‘SET’, ‘ESC’, ‘Up’, ‘Down’, ‘Left’, and ‘Right’ button
to select menu and change the corresponding value.

Using the menu

In initial screen, if you press DDC ‘SET’ button, it enters environment setting menu list.
DDC main menu has total of 2 pages, and according to S/W version, the contents and the
number of the corresponding menu may be different.

You can use ‘Up’, ‘Down’ button to move to each menu,

Setting the network

When you complete the network cable connections, you have to set DDC network environment.
In DDC, the following network information can be set through LCD window.
• DDC IP address
• Gateway address
• Subnet mask

Setting network environment information
- If network value not corresponding to the environment of the installation site is set, or if
incorrect value is input, control may not be possible.
- Be careful while entering the values.

[Network info] menu is composed of the following 2 menus, and you can move between them
using ‘Up’, ‘Down’ button.

Place ‘>’ on the menu to change the setting information, and pressing ‘SET’ button will enter the
corresponding setting screen.
(Provided that, MC-MacAddress information is input at ship-out, and it is unique number of each
DDC, so it cannot be changed.)
When you press ‘ESC’ button, it returns to the previous screen.

! CAUTION
Even if correct network value is input, according to the setting of the network equipments in
the corresponding building, network may not work properly. In such cases you need to set the
network equipments.

Setting IP/GW address & SM

To set network environment, you basically need to set IP/GW(Gateway IP) address & SM(Subnet
mask) addresses.
The network address is composed of the group of numbers in the form of ‘XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX’,

When you finish entering address, if you press ‘SET’ button once again, “Please Wait..’ screen is
displayed for a few seconds as in the following figure, and the initial screen is displayed with the
changed address value.
After changing the address, if there is no ‘SET’ button input for about 10 sec., it will return to the
initial screen without changing the address value.

INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD

con una cubierta durante el envío inicial. Para usar este puerto se necesitan algunas herramientas (por
ejemplo, un destornillador) para retirar la cubierta del puerto y conectar el conector.

Instalación del DDC
Puede usar cualquiera de estos dos métodos para fijar el DDC en la pared.

Fijación del DDC en la pared

El DDC puede instalarse al fijarse en la pared.
• Decida el espacio a instalar el DDC.
- Compruebe si es un lugar adecuado para conectar los cables, incluyendo la alimentación
eléctrica del DDC, los cables de conexión externa, LAN, etc.
• Fije el DDC en la pared con el destornillador.
• Según la ubicación de instalación, puede fijarlo como se indica en la imagen siguiente.

! PRECAUCIÓN
• Especificaciones de los tornillos: Altura de la cabeza del tornillo: 1,75 - 2,00 mm

Instalación del DDC en el riel DIN

El DDC se puede instalar en un riel DIN con un ancho de 35 mm y una altura de 7,5 mm.
Para instalar el DDC en un lugar adecuado, siga estas instrucciones.
• Decida el espacio de instalación del DDC.
• Compruebe si es un lugar adecuado para conectar los cables, incluyendo la alimentación
eléctrica del DDC, los cables de conexión externa, LAN, etc.
• Instale el riel DIN.
• Cuelgue la parte superior del DDC en el riel DIN.

• Presione la unidad principal del DDC hasta que encaje en su posición.
• Tire del DDC para comprobar que esté fijo.

Uso de los botones

Puede usar el LCD y los botones de la parte frontal del DDC para ajustar los valores iniciales.
Hay un total de 6 botones. Puede presionar "SET", "ESC". "Arriba", "Abajo", "Izquierda" o
"Derecha" para seleccionar el menú y cambiar el valor correspondiente.

En la pantalla de inicio, si presiona el botón "SET" del DDC, accederá a la lista de menús para
los ajustes del entorno.
El menú principal del DDC tiene 2 páginas. El contenido y el número de menús pueden variar
según la versión de software.

Puede usar los botones "Arriba" o "Abajo" para moverse

por los menús, y presionar el botón "SET" para ingresar al
contenido detallado en el menú correspondiente.

Consulte información de IP, puerta de enlace o máscara de
subred y puede cambiar la información correspondiente.

Configuración de la red
Al completar las conexiones del cable de red, debe configurar el entorno de red en el DDC.
La información de red siguiente se puede modificar en la pantalla LCD.
• Dirección IP del DDC
• Dirección de puerta de enlace
• Máscara de subred

! PRECAUCIÓN
Configuración de la información del entorno de red
- Si se asigna un valor de red que no coincide con el entorno del lugar de instalación o se
introduce un valor incorrecto, es posible que no se pueda establecer el control.
- Preste atención al introducir los valores.

El menú [Información de Red] consta de los 2 menús siguientes. Puede navegar entre ellos con
los botones "Arriba" y "Abajo".

Coloque ">" en el menú para cambiar la información de los ajustes y presione el botón "SET"
para acceder a la pantalla de ajustes correspondientes.
Tenga en cuenta que la información de MC-MacAddress se introduce al momento del envío y es
un número único para cada DDC, por lo que no se puede cambiar.
Si se presiona el botón "ESC", volverá a la pantalla anterior.

! PRECAUCIÓN
Aunque introduzca un valor de red correcto según los requisitos de red del edificio, es posible
que la red no funcione correctamente. De ser así, debe ajustar los equipos de red.

Configuración de las direcciones IP/GW y SM

Para configurar el entorno de red debe modificar las direcciones IP/GW (IP de puerta de enlace)
y SM (máscara de subred).
La dirección de red consta de un grupo de números con el formato "XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX".
Puede cambiar los valores con los botones "Arriba", "Abajo", "Izquierda" y "Derecha".
A continuación, se muestra un ejemplo de modificación de la dirección IP.

red se mueve.

Al finalizar el ingreso de la dirección, si vuelve a presionar el botón "SET", aparecerá la pantalla

"Espere..." durante unos segundos, tal y como se muestra en la siguiente imagen. A continuación,
se muestra la pantalla de inicio con el valor de dirección modificado.
Al modificar la dirección, si no presiona el botón "SET" en 10 segundos, volverá a la pantalla de
inicio sin guardar los cambios.

El DDC admite varios protocolos RS-485. Puede ajustar el puerto según el entorno del sitio. En
la pantalla LCD del DDC puede verificar la información del puerto RS-485.

① Presione el botón "SET" en la pantalla de inicio del DDC para acceder a la pantalla [MENÚ].

Función de servicio del software

Puede usar el menú [Función] del DDC para ejecutar las siguientes funciones.

Sirve para agregar o eliminar funciones mediante la actualización de software.
• Copia de Seguridad de la Base de Datos
Realiza un respaldo de la información de la operación y configuración del DDC en un USB.
• Recuperación de la Base de Datos
En caso de algún error o el reemplazo del DDC, la información de la operación de la copia de
seguridad se puede restaurar en el nuevo DDC. De este modo, el DDC se puede reemplazar
sin un procedimiento específico de ingeniería.
• Guardar Historial
Guarda el historial de operación del DDC en una tarjeta SD para que pueda analizar o
comprobar el estado de funcionamiento del DDC.
• Ajustes de la Hora
Si el DDC se usa en un sitio sin software de control, se puede ajustar la hora del DDC.
