International Functional Safety Trainings with Exams and Certificate

Trainings
In 2004, TÜV Rheinland has instituti-
onalized a training program, the TÜV
Rheinland Functional Safety Program,
together with international companies.
More than 20 enterprises – the Global
Players of the Functional Safety
Business – offer trainings regarding
different topics under the roof of
the worldwide acknowledged TÜV
Rheinland Functional Safety Program.
Participants of these trainings have to
fulfill certain requirements and if they
pass the exam, which takes place at
the end of each training they will
obtain the so called “FS Engineer
(TÜV Rheinland)” certificate.
By now there are more than 8,000
engineers worldwide who are holders
of this certificate.
These trainings will equip engineers
with knowledge, skills and experiences
in order to achieve a worldwide ack-
nowledged know how and practical
understanding in functional safety
based on the internationally relevant
standards IEC 61508, IEC 61511,
IEC 62061 and ISO 26262.
Course Providers
More than 20 global companies, who
are either developers and/or manufac-
turers of safety-related products, sys-
tem integrators or safety consultants
offer worldwide trainings in English,
Chinese, Japanese, Spanish or German
language.
All trainings are offered worldwide.
Registrations have to be made directly
with the course providers who then
pass on further detailed information
about training contents and requirements.
The applied training and exam material
of each course provider has been revie-
wed and approved by TÜV Rheinland
according to their quality standard.
The comprehensive training material
is handed over to each participant at
the start of the training.
