    is considered to be the leading KPI. IF there is a big difference in OPI and OPI Nona, 


    and OPI nona is used as the main KPI in PM, also contribution of breakdown, minor stops
    and speed loss must be calculated as contribution to OPI nona. In this case the 
    denominater is not manned time, but effective working time.
    The first example is of a mechanical breakdown.  MTTR reduction often by reduction of 
    logistic time.
    The second example is of an electrical breakdown: normally longer investigation time, 
    less repair time and sometimes longer time for specialist to arrive. However the same 
    categories can be used. MTTR reduction often by reduction of highlight time ‐> increase 
    of skills.
    Scope is machine operating time: line is running
    Touch: Every time the operator has to touch the machine, control system or product to 
    keep the line running.
    Assist: Every time the operator has to correct a deviation from the normal working 
    principle to keep the line running.
    Stop: Every time loss on the bottleneck machine caused by a stop of a machine in the 
    same line.
    Measured on line level!
    100% OPI related: PM indicator.

    Every stop of a machine in a line, that causes a deviation in running speed of the 
    bottleneck machine is included!
    Breakdowns are not included! 

    Can be measured in a simple way on the filler:
    ‐Time loss < 5 min per event 
    ‐AND Infeed gate closes OR machine stops OR machine ramps down.
    Measured on work area level.

    Can only be measured by sampling!

    AM indicator
    MTBA: Eradicate unplanned assists to reduce saturation and enable to have operators 
    perform more value added tasks (for example CILT) during operating time, and Minor 
    Stop analysis during waiting time.

    MTBT: ECRS planned tasks (larger magazine, automated quality checks) and further 
    standardise reaction on unplanned tasks (reject system, redundant crown cork chute)
    MTBA is the most important KPI at operator work area by AM.
    For AM Pillar follow‐up consolidation of MTBA on line level is possible

    MTBS only for benchmarking and for looking at line level by PM

    MTBT improvement is the ultimate goal. It gives a good indication of opportunities for 
    productivity improvement in combination with saturation percentage. Saturation shows if 
    time is available, MTBT shows if the available time is fragmented. It therefore is 
    measured at operator level by FI
    MTBA is AM KPI.
