COMM 2215 ASSIGNMENT 4 – Interview (10%)

Instructions:
For this assignment, you will prepare for an interview for a job that you pick. You are required
to prepare one word document and one video submission (maximum 8 minutes long)
1) Using ‘Answers to Interview Questions’ below, prepare and write out the answers to 3
of the following questions. You must both Mandatory questions, and then one of the
elective questions.

Mandatory Questions (answer both)

1. Tell me about yourself.
2. Why do you want to work here?

Elective Questions (pick 1)

3. Why did you leave your last job?
4. What are your greatest strengths?
5. What are your weaknesses?
6. Communication is important to this job. Describe a time when you effectively
utilized your communication skills. (max 3 minutes)
7. Tell me about a time when you had to resolve a conflict.
8. Why should we hire you?

2) Submit a video of you answering the three questions.

 Aim for 1-3 minutes per question (no more than 3 minutes please)
 Please try to find someone to ask you the questions
 If you can’t find anyone to ask you the questions, clearly indicate what question
you are answering (hold up a piece of paper with the question number, or just
state what question you are answering)
