Hadith with meaning

1.Feeding the Hungry:

Our Beloved Messenger Muḥammad ‫صلي هللا عليه وسلم‬said:

‫عود ُْال َم ِريض‬

ُ ‫أَط ِع ُم ْال َجائِ َع َو‬

"Feed the hungry and visit the sick.”

(ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī)

2. Helping Others:

Our Beloved Messenger Muḥammad ‫عليه وسلم صلي هللا‬said:

ِ ‫َاس أَنفَعُ ُهم ِللن‬

‫َاس‬ ِ ‫َيرالن‬
ُ ‫خ‬
"The best from the people is the one who is most helpful to
others.”
(al-Mu'jam al-Awsat)

3. Doing things slowly:

Our Beloved Messenger Muhammad ‫ صلي هللا عليه وسلم‬said:

‫ان‬
ِ ‫ط‬ ‫َّللا َو ْالعَ َجلَةُ ِمنَ ال ه‬
َ ‫ش ْي‬ ِ ‫األَنَاة ُ ِمنَ ه‬
"Doing things calmly is from Alläh and doing things fast is
from Shaytán." (Tirmidhi)

4.Cleanliness:

Our Beloved Messenger Muhammad ‫صلي هللا عليه وسلم‬said:

*‫ان‬
ِ ‫اْلي َم‬ ْ ‫ور ش‬
ِ ْ ‫َط ُر‬ ُّ ‫*ال‬
ُ ‫ط ُه‬
"Purity is half of iman."
(Sahih Muslim)

5.Truth:

Our Beloved Messenger Muhammad ‫صلي هللا عليه وسلم‬said:

*‫ق‬ ِ ‫ع َل ْي ُك ْم ِب‬
ِ ‫الص ْد‬ َ *
"Hold on to the truth"
(Sahih Muslim)
6.Truth:

‫قال رسول هللا صلى هللا عليه وسلم‬

Our Beloved Messenger Muhammad ‫صلى هللا عليه وسلم‬said:

*‫ وإن َكانَ ُم ًّرا‬,‫*قُ ِل اَ ْل َح هق‬

"Speak the truth, even though it may be bitter." (Ahmad)

7.Salam:

Our Beloved Messenger Muhammad ‫صلي هللا عليه وسلم‬said:

)‫اَّلل َم ْن َب َدأَهُ ْم ِبالس َهَل ِم‬ ِ ‫( ِإ هن أَ ْولَى النه‬

ِ ‫اس ِب ه‬
"The closest of people to Allah is the one who initiates
saying salam to them." (Abü Dawüd)
8.Using the Right Hand:

Our Beloved Messenger Muhammad

said:

َ‫ َو ُك ْل ِب َي ِمينِك‬، ‫َّللا‬
َ ‫س ِم ه‬
َ
"Say 'Bismilläh' and eat with your right hand." (Sahih al-
Bukhäri

9. Drinking whilst sitting:

Our Beloved Messenger Muhammah ‫صلي هللا عليه وسلم‬said:

‫ََل يَ ْش َربَ هن أَ َح ٌد ِم ْن ُك ْم قَائِ ًما‬

"None of you should drink whilst standing."
(Sahih Muslim)
