The endocrine glands release hormones into the bloodstream

helping us control our mood, growth and development, the

way our organs work metabolism and reproduction. The
endocrine glands are essential to the body because it regulates
how much of each hormone is released.
The endocrine glands release hormones into the bloodstream
so that they can travel to the tissues and organs all over the
body. If our endocrine glands are not healthy it will cause
fatigue, stomach upset, dehydration and skin changes.
Addisons Disease is also called adrenal insufficiency. The
endocrine glands also monitors the amount of hormones in
your blood. Hormones deliver their messages by locking into
the cells they target so they can relay the message. The
pituitary gland senses when your hormone levels rise, and tells
other glands to stop producing and releasing hormones. When
hormone levels dip below a certain point, the pituitary gland
can instruct other glands to produce and release more. This
process is called homeostasis.

In conclusion the endocrine glands helps us maintain our body

by releasing hormones into the bloodstream and by regulating
our growth and development. And so to keep your endocrine
glands healthy you should exercise, sleep and eat healthy.
