If I were to choose a biopic film that I have seen this year, it would be the
one who talks about a youtuber called Rubius. This short film shows to
perfection his life and his recovery from being addicted to videogames.
In this film, we travel to his childhood, where he was born and how he
became the most famous youtuber for so many years. What I found
surprising was that he is very shy and grew up in a little town in Norway,
besides, he moved to Spain with just three years and not only had to learn
Spanish, but also needed to make new friend, and that was the hardest
thing for him.
Rubius’s life is an inspirational story, so this creates an amazing
connection between he and his audience. Understandably, he had always
been incredible at entertaining people, and that is the main reason of why
he is so good at being a youtuber. Moreover, being a youtuber is his actual
job and what he has always done, playing videogames and make people
laugh.
I would strongly recommend this biopic about his life. It will appeal to his
fans but also it is a good choice for someone bored in the night, as it is
absorbing and makes you laugh is many moments.
