Chapter/Episode 1: “I am Tim”
By Eli Antoine
“HOW I BECAME A CHRISTIAN”
EXT. A PARK BENCH; UB OR PATTERSON PARK- DAY/AFTERNOON (LOCATION/ TIME OF DAY-- CONTROL + 5)
^Info: [INT. is for “Interior”, and EXT. is for “Exterior”. Then you
generally put what time of the day it is... can be
Day/Night/Twilight/Afternoon/Evening/whatnot. Usually day/night is the most
common/standard.]
ELIBB
(Character emotions or small actions
(Control + 3))
Example dialogue...
VANESSA
If you have characters talking, one after another,
without a need for additional description, if you press
'Enter' after the first dialogue, it should just
automatically create a new character name title (without
you having to press control + 2) Some other
commands/spacing are automatic too.
Use underlines for speech emphasis (industry standard),
as opposed to bold or italics, since it's easier for
others to read. I sometimes just use ALL CAPS in dialogue
or words in bold/italics anyway, haha. That's not
industry standard though. (Neither is when I put dialogue
in parenthesis to say that it's dialogue outside of
speech bubbles. Just for my own comic stuff.)
DAVID (O.S.)
O.S. Means that they are talking “Off-Screen” without
being shown.
VANESSA (V.O.)
V.O. Means they are talking in a “Voice-over”, or “in
their thoughts/minds.”
Title of Series or Chapter • Issue #1 • Author Name 4.

Every script page generally equals to a
minute in actual video screen time. [IN THE
ORIGINAL TEMPLATE— without the page margin
difference I made in this file.] A 20-minute
video = 20 page script (approx); not
counting the 1st title/author name page.
On this page, please note how the top of the page from
Pg. 3 and onward includes a title, and numbers the
pages after the chapter title page.
