B. COURSE POLICIES
Attendance Policy Attendance is required and strict university regulations are enforced:
1. Students are required to attend all classes and arrive on time.
2. Students must wait the instructor in the classroom for at least 10 minutes.
3. Absence by 25% of lectures or more results in an automatic grade change
to W
1. Absence from a exam or quiz other than a final results in zero mark for that
exam or quiz. Exceptions are made for students submitting a valid excuse
accepted by the instructor in a timely manner
Absence from exams 2. Absence from a final exam results in zero mark unless the student provides
and late assignments
official excuse accepted by Academic Affairs.
3. Late policy will be applied if students fails to submit their assignments and
projects on time.
Academic Honesty University rules and regulations regarding cheating will be strictly applied.
Please read AAUJ rules and regulations. Cheating practices include:
1. Copying from another student.
2. Using materials not authorized by the proctor.
3. Collaborate with other student during exam without permission.
4. Stealing or buying a content of exam or assignments.
5. Stealing ideas and work of others and presenting it as yours.
6. Using mobiles during exams
Grading Policy The university uses lettering grading system. The passing grade of D will be
determined at the end of the course.
Teaching Methods Student centered and active learning strategies are used to achieve student
learning outcomes:
1. Lectures: Class sessions will involve lectures, case studies and discussions
related to course contents.
2. Readings: Students should read the relevant chapters of the textbook and

materials before class. They should be prepared to raise questions and

arguments in class on related topics in the class schedule.
3. Learning activities: Students are encouraged to engage with the material,
participate in the class, and collaborate with each other.
