Part 3: Personal Challenge


Considering your responses in Part 1 and 2, use the steps below to create a personal challenge.
Choose

Choose one digital habit you want to change or to try to do differently. Why is it important that you
change this habit?

A habit I’d like to do differently is stop watching youtube or browsing reddit while I eat. It’s
important because I could use this time to interact with my mom when she eats too.

Challenge

Challenge yourself. Make a plan for how you would like to change your habit. Consider when you
will do something different and what you can do instead. (When we're trying to change a habit, it's
not enough just to say what we won't do. We also have to come up with something to do instead!)

I’ll try to not do this habit today, something else that I can do is just eat or talk with my mom.

Something that I can do is to put my iPad away from me or put my pc on sleep mode.

I don’t think I learned anything new since I already knew that we should have a balance, but it did help me
think about what I can do since teacher discussed it.
