MY PLAN TRAINING SESSION IN ELECTRICAL INSTALLION AND MAINTENANCE NC II

IN MAKING MY SESION PLAN, I CONSIDER THE TRAINING NEEDS, LEARNING


OUTCOMES, TIME, RESOURCES, TARGET GROUP, TRAINEE’S CHARACTERISTICS
AND OTHER RELEVENT DOCUMENTS. I GET MY ANSWER USING TNA FORMS, CBC,
CS, TR AND RPL. I WRITE MY SESSION PLAN BY FILLING OUT THE SECTOR,
EXAMPLE ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS, UNIT OF COMPETENCY EXAMPLE,
INSTALL ELECTRICAL PROTECTIVE DEVICES FOR DISTRIBUTION, POWER,
LIGHTING, AUXILLARY, LIGHTNING PROTECTION AND GROUNDING SYSTEM,
LEARNING OUT COME EXAMPLE, INSTALL LIGHTING FIXTURE AND AUXILARY OUTLET,
INTRODUCTION, LEARNING ACTIVITIES WHERE YOU CAN FIND THE OBJECTIVES
AND THE ASSESSMENT PLAN EXAMPLE WRITTEN TEST, DEMNSTRATION AND ORAL
QUESTIONING. I SELECT MY TRAINING METHODS BASE ON CONTENT, OBJECTIVES,
COST, TARGET AUDIENCE, TIME AND RESOURCES. I ORGANIZE MY CONTENT
ACTIVITIES BASE ON GAGNES THEORY FROM SIMPLE TO COMPLEX AND FROM
HIERARCHY OF LEARNING. THEN, I SELECT MY ASSESSMENT METHOD BASE ON
TR, DEMONSTRATION TO MEASURE UNDERPINNING SKILLS, AND WRITTEN TEST TO
MEASURE UNDERPINNING KNOWLEDGRE AS ATESTED BY INTERNAL PARTY. WHEN
I PREPARE THE ASSESSMENT TOOLS, I CONSIDER THE VALIDITY IF IT IS
RELEVANT TO CS, DIMENSION OF COMPETENCY AND RULES OF EVIDENCE. I
CONSIDER THE COST EFFECTIVENESS BY PROPER UTILIZATION OF TOOLS AND
MATERIALS. I PREPARE MY TABLE OF SPECIFICATION TO ENSURE THAT WELL-
DISTRIBUTION OF ITEMS AND LEARNING OUTCOME IS SCOOPED IN THE WRITTEN
TEST. I CONSIDER THE ADULT LEARNING PRINCIPLE LIKE READY TO LEARN AND
BASE ON EXPERIENCE.
MY SUPERVISE WORK BASE LEARNING IN ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION AND
MAINTENANCE NCII – 10 MINS.

I CONDUCT TIE-UP, BENCHMARKING, PARTNERSHIP, MOA AND MOU. I MET THE


INDUSTRY, TALK MATTER RELATED TO THE TRAINING LIKE WHAT ACTIVITIES TO
BE PERFORM AND WHAT METHOD TO BE USED. I DISCUSS THE PURPOSE OF THE
TRAINING PLAN LIKE WHAT KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS THAT THE INDUSTRY IS
NEEDED AND THE TRAINEE MUST BE GIVEN A TASK THAT MET INDUSTRY
STANDARD.
I COORDINATED THE PARTNER INDUSTRY AND PREPARE THE TRAINING PLAN.
THEN, I CONDUCT ORIENTATION TO THE TRAINEE AND THE PROCESS OF WORK
BASE TRAINING. I CONDUCT PERSONAL INSPECTION TO THE INDUSTRY TO
MONITOR THE PERFORMANCE OF THE TRAINEE. I READ THE TRAINEE’S RECORD
BOOK. I ALSO TALK TO THE TRAINEE TO COLLECT FEEDBACKS. THEN, I TALK TO
THE SUPERVISOR AND DISCUSS THE PERFORMANCE OF THE TRAINEE. I ASK A
WRITTEN REPORT FROM THE INDUSTRY. I MAKE FURTHER INVESTIGATION TO
THE WRITTEN REPORT. I PROVIDE FEEDBACKS TO THE TRAINEE BASE ON THE
WRITTEN REPORT. THEN, I VERIFY THE TRUTHFULNESS OF THE REPORT. I GAVE
COUNSELLING TO THE TRAINEE.
I USED EVALUATION TOOLS TO BE FILLED UP BY THE TRAINEE LIKE EVALUATION
FOR TRAINEE. I READ THE TRAINEE’S JOURNAL AND THE MONITORING REPORT. I
COLLECT FEEDBACKS AND RECOMMENDATION BY THE TRAINEE. I GIVE
RECOMMENDATION TO THE PARTNER INDUSTRY BASE ON THE RESULT OF THE
INTERPRETATION.

I PREPARE THE MAINTENANCE AND HOUSE KEEPING ACTIVITIES BY PREPARING


THE INVENTORY OF EQUIPMENTS, TOOLS, SUPPLIES, MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES,
RESOURCES AND SCHEDULES. I STABLISH MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES. I PREPARE
THE MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE AND INSPECTION. THEN, I PREPARE THE
MANUFACTURERS MANUAL FOR MAINTENANCE. I ALSO PREPARE THE
MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE AND CHECKLIST. THEN, I SECURE ALL TOOLS AND
EQUIPMENT IN THE TOOLS ROOM CLEAN AND DRY.
THEN I PREPARE THE PURCHASE REQUEST FORM. I USE THE PURCHASE REQUEST
FORM, IF I REQUEST ADDITIONAL TOOLS AND EQUIPMENTS TO THE WORKSHOP.
THEN, I JUSTIFY THE PURPOSE IN THE PURCHASE REQUEST.
I PREPARE THE WASTE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM SEGREGATION POLICY, REGULARLY
CHECKING OF WASTE AND PUT PERSONEL IN-CHARGE. I PREPARE THE
MAINTENANCE RECORD FOR ALL TOOLS, EQUIPMENTS, MACHINES AND THE
WORKSHOP AS A WHOLE. I KEEP ALL THE DOCUMENT IN SECURED CABINATE AND
ARRANGE PROPERLY.

I PREPARE THE 9 CBT SUCH AS CONTEXTUAL LEARNING AREA, LEARNING


RESOURCE AREA, TRAINERS RESOURCE AREA, SUPPORT RESOURCE AREA,
COMPUTER LABORATORY, DISTANCE RESOURCE AREA, PRACTICAL RESOURCE
AREA, INSTITUTIONAL ASSESSMENT AREA, QUALITY CONTROL AREA,
MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE, WASTE SEGREGATION, FIRE EXTINGUISHER, MEDICAL
KIT, PROGRESS CHART AND THE ACHIEVEMENT CHART. I CONDUCT TNA SUCH AS
SELF-ASSESSMENT CHECK, LEARNING STYLE, TRAINEE’S CHARACTERISTICS AND
THE PRE-TEST. I DISCUSS THE 9CBT COMPONENTS SUCH AS TRAINERS
RESOURCES AREA WHERE THE TRAINER MAKE THE MODULES OR CBLM,
PRACTICAL RESOURCE AREA WHERE THE TRAINEE ACQUIRE THE SKILL AND
KNOWLEDGE, AND THE LEARNING RESOURCE AREA WHERE YOU CAN FIND THE
CBLM, MODULES AND INFORMATION SHEET ITS LIKE MINI LIBRARY. I DISCUSS
THE 10 BASIC PRINCIPLES OF COMPETENCY BASED ON TVET, THE TRAINING IS
BASE ON CURRICULUM DEVELOPED FROM THE COMPETENCY STANDARD,
LEARNING IS MODULAR IN IT STRUCTURE EVERY MODULE CONSIST OF 1 UNIT OF
COMPETENCY EVERY MODULE THAT ARE BEING ACCOMPLISH IT WILL BE
RECORDED IN THE PROGRESS CHART. TRAINING DELIVERY IS LEARNER
CENTERED, TRAINING IS BASE ON WORK THAT MUST BE PERFORMED, TRAINING
MATERIALS ARE DIRECTLY RELATED TO THE COMPETENCY STANDARD,
ASSESSMENT IS BASE IN THE COLLECTION OF EVIDENCE OF THE PERFORMANCE
OF WORK TO THE INDUSTRY REQUIRED STANDARD, TRAINING IS BASE BOTH ON
AND OFF-THE –JOB COMPONENTS, TRAINING PROGRAM ALLOW FOR RECOGNITION
OF PRIOR LEARNING (RPL) OR CURRENT COMPETENCIES WHERE IF THE TRAINEE
HAVE/HAS A WORKING EXPERIENCE THAT RELATED TO THE QUALIFICATION
MUST BE RECOGNIZE. TRAINING ALLOWS FOR MULTIPLE ENTRY AND MULTIPLE
EXIST MEANS TRAINEE CAN EXIT THE PROGRAM IF HE/SHE COMPLETE ALL THE
REQUIRED UNIT OF COMPETENCY FOR THE SPECIFIC QUALIFICATION EVEN DO
HER/HIS CO-TRAINEE NOT YET FINISH BECAUSE IT IS SELF PACED. TRAINING
PROGRAMS ARE REGISTERED WITH THE UTPRAS. I DISCUSS THE 4 BASIC
COMPETENCY, 5 COMMON COMPETENCY AND THE 3 CORE COMPETENCY. I
DISCUSS THE 4 DIMENSION OF COMPETENCY. THEN, I POSTED THE TRAINING
ACTIVITY METRIX BASE ON TNA. I CONDUCT TRAINING, I DEMO TO THE TRAINEE
THEN I ASK RETURN DEMO. I GAVE FEEDBACK TO THE TRAINEE. I GIVE TASK
SHEET FOR IMPROVEMENT.
I CONDUCT INSTITUTIONAL ASSESSMENT. I EXPLAIN THE EVIDENCE PLAN AND THE
3 METHODS OF ASSESSMENT THE WRITTEN TEST, DEMONSTRATION, ORAL
QUESTIONING. I GAVE PERFORMANCE TEST AND TASK SHEET FOR
DEMONSTRATION. I GAVE TIME TO READ THE TRAINEE. I EXPLAIN THE
INSTRUCTION FOR CLARIFICATION. I GAVE FEEDBACK, POSITIVE AND ADVICE
AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT TO THE PERFORMANCE AND RECOMMEND FURTHER
ENHANCEMENT. I GAVE POST TEST, TRAINING EVALUATION, AND I GAVE THE
APPLICATION FORM TO BE FILLED UP BY THE TRAINEE AND THE SCHEDULE FOR
OJT.
My Conduct Competency Assessment in ______QUALIFICATION ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION
AND MAINTENANCE NC II - 2O MINS.

I prepare myself punctual and grooming then coordinated with the assessment center
manager, I confirmed the assessment record keeping and reporting arrangement, I check the
assessment guidelines, schedule, availability of the assessment center and candidates,
evidence and evidence gathering tools, workplace policies and procedures and ask the role of
all the people involved during the assessment then I conduct site inspection check the
completeness of assessment resources, assessment package and ensure safe and accessible
assessment environment then I explain the context, physical settings, purpose and
certification, I establish the allowable adjustment such as religion, language, culture, health
condition and other needs, then explain the legal and ethical responsibilities the
confidentiality, right to appeal, privacy, free consent of candidates OH&S and integrity of
assessor, transparent reporting and fairness then explain clearly the competency standards
to be assist such as Qualification Title, Unit of competency, elements and Methods of
assessment then explain the assessment then explain the assessment procedure to the
candidates such as establish the content and purpose of assessment , prepare the candidates
orientation, gather evidences, decision making, recording and reporting, giving feedback and
review of the assessment process then orientation is part of preparing the candidates to relax
and not comprehensive to provide supportive environment by allowing the candidates to be
clarified the competencies to be assets to be used the flow of assessment and responsibilities
of the people involve the ask the candidates to accomplished admission slip w/ ID picture
valid ID and let them sign the attendance sheet and compare the signature for validity then
explain the task to be performed, provide the specific instruction of the candidates to read
the task then I discuss the DO’s and DON’T’s such as I do not interrupt, I don’t ask question, I
do not leave the assessment room, I record my observation and stop the assessment if it will
affect the life and property, then during the interview if the candidates are wrong I will not
provide the correct answer because it may be pre-empts the answer to the next candidates
and they may think that the assessment are finish then I made my decision based on the four
dimension of competencies ,rules of evidence , evidence requirements and corroboration of
the evidences to other evidences gathered in accordance to the performance criteria the I
give clear and constructive feedback to reinforce good performance, explain specific area for
improvement, provide advice further training and give application for re assessment and if
candidate did not agree w/ my decision even after a clear feedback I will ask the candidates
to identify area of dis-agreement and record it in a written sheet and both sign, prepare
incident report promptly then prepare the attendance sheet with the result, rating sheets,
cars, complaint report and corrective action form.
