Personally i feel like in our own personal dark times is when God is silent.

Theres also like calamities or disasters both natural and caused by man that i
feel like God is silent. I feel like my answer is mainly widespread but also
individual at times.
What helps me have faith that God does speak to the world in general is when
good things happen to other people. Wether it be someone helping them or
when something bad does happen but they get saved in some way. To me
personally, its when other people comfort me when im down and all especially
in those darkest moments of my life.
