How to use your time better

STEP 1. Stop wasting time.


There are many reasons why we waste time, but perhaps the main one is that we do not
give it the value it has. The time is gold.
 Never leave for tomorrow what you can do today.
 Learn how to say no to unexpected calls from your friends or plans that come up at
the last minute.
 Try not to be too much of a perfectionist because it is another way to waste time.
 Use a system to file your notes or work documents.

STEP 2. Decide what your goals are.


Write down your goals, both at the level of studies and personal life and think of all the
things you would like to do.
 Set goals that are challenging to motivate you.
 Make sure your goal is measurable so you can monitor your progress.
 Put a date on each objective that is proposed.
 Try not to say "yes" to people just to look good.

STEP 3. Plan to achieve your goals.


Planning is an excellent habit that we can all develop. The more ambitious our goals, the
more important it is to have good planning.
 Set a time limit for the activity.
 Try to keep your plan flexible because unforeseen events always arise.
 Take time to review your planning every day.
 Follow up, you need to stop to reflect on the progress you are making.
