DIALOGUE:
A: Hello girls!

B: Hello Edith, why do you look tired?

A: I was practicing baseball at my sports school.

C: Baseball? This sport isn’t very common, it sounds difficult.

D: Yes, I think it isn’t common in Peru, where is Baseball played?

A: You are right girls, in Peru not many people play baseball, but in the US most people
know and play this sport.

B: Oh, good! I'm interested in boxing, sometimes I watch the women's WWE and it's a lot of
fun, but it's difficult to practice this sport, since it takes many years to learn the techniques.

C: Honestly, I haven't watched many boxing matches. I've always thought it's a bit boring.

D: In Peru, women's boxing isn’t very common, since most people think that it’s a rough and
hard sport for women, so few girls dare to practice it. Anyway, you can practice it if you
want!

C: Foy my part, I want to try ice hockey. I find it really exciting; it has a lot of adrenaline.

A: I suppose so. But isn't it a slow sport? The rink seems large, and the players move
around at a slower pace.

C: I don't think so, this sport is one of the fastest sports and most of its matches are exciting.
There is a lot of action happening on the ice.

B: Sounds interesting Nicol, how many players are there? and where is this sport from?

C: Not many players, only 6 people for team can play. This sport is very common in Canada,
since here in Peru most sports centers don’t have an ice rink.

D: Oh, that's good. Personally, I don't like team sports. With many people I feel intimidated
and can't concentrate.

A: What sport you like?

D: I really like bungee jumping.

C: Have you ever tried bungee jumping before? Where?

D: Yes, I did, when I went on vacation to Cusco. It’s not a common sport in Peru, so it’s
difficult to find.

A: Why do you think this sport is not very common in Peru?

D: Because not many people dare to jump into the void depending only on a rope. Also, it’s a
very scary sport, you need a lot of courage to do it, very few dare to jump without thinking
about it.

B: I'd like to try it sometime; it must be awesome.

C: Not me thanks. It's a very dangerous sport.

D: Yes, it’s dangerous, but the sensation that is experienced is unique, only few people can
feel it. Cheer up!

A: Omg, I want to try it too, cheer up Nicol!

C: Ok I’ll try some day.
