USER’S MANUAL

Software Requirements

Operating System: Android OS version 10.0 or above

Hardware Requirements

Android Smartphone

Screen Resolution: 1080 x 2400 pixels

Processor: Octa-core CPU

Memory: 8GB RAM

Storage:

Virtual Reality head-mounted display

Bluetooth or wired controller

Bluetooth or wired headphones


Installation Procedure

1. Open the provided installer or the ‘survivr.apk’ file, and a dialogue box will

appear. Tap ‘Install’ to continue the installation process.

2. The installation of the application will now proceed. If not, adjust any security-

related permission in the setting of the smartphone.

3. The user will be prompted when the installation is complete. The application is

now ready.

Getting Started

1. Prepare the listed hardware requirements above.

2. Connect a Bluetooth gamepad to the smartphone.

3. Connect a Bluetooth or wired pair of headphones to the smartphone.

4. Open the application by selecting the SurviVR icon from the applications menu.

5. Mount the smartphone to the virtual reality glasses head-mounted display.

6. Wear the virtual reality glasses and headphones. Adjust the glasses to focus the

vision.

7. Finally, hold the gamepad. The user may need assistance for this step.

Gameplay Instructions

1. To move the user’s field of view, the user moves its head to the desired direction.
2. By default, the user presses the gamepad buttons × to interact, □, and ○ to use

equipped item.

3. To start a new game, look at the scenario selection area (doors), and select the

desired scenario.

4. Follow the in-game instructions.

5. Complete the materials needed for you ‘Go Bag’ to get to the end of the scenario.

6. One of the objectives is to prepare yourself for the coming typhoon in your area.

To prepare, collect all the materials needed for the ‘Go Bag’ and watch the news

for updates and for other information.

7. When the user already completed the objectives for each level it will be spawned

in a room showing the word ‘Well Done!!’ with reminders on how a person can

prepare and survive in a typhoon.
