How to Perform a
CFIG Upload from a
4100ES FACP

Follow these steps and click the corresponding movie to view

the procedure for uploading a CFIG file from a 4100ES FACP.
1. Connect to the Panel and from the Windows Desktop, click Start, Programs, Simplex, the latest Programmer revision,
and then IP File Transfer.
The File Transfer application opens.
2. Click the Upload/Reports tab, by default, the Panel Configuration file is selected for Uploading.
3. Click the Upload button.
The Panel Configuration file is transferred from the 4100ES Master Controller Card’s Compact Flash Memory to your laptop.
4. Click the Close button and from the Windows Desktop, click Start, Programs, Simplex, the latest Programmer revision,
and then the latest Programmer.
The 4100ES Programmer opens.
5. From the Programmer tool bar, click File and then Open.
6. Select the appropriate Job folder and then click Open.
7. Click the .SDB file and then click Open to view the Uploaded information.
