Final Exam – Project Plan

IMask

I. INTRODUCTION

I.1 Purpose of Plan


Make a comfortable mask which is a face mask combined with the Face Shield in order to fight against COVID-
19. This product will start manufacturing from collecting all the ingredients on May 01, 2020 – Perhaps end of
July (The first product will release)
This project will be supported by N95 Mask & This mask will be made by IMask team which is Ressa as a
president, Vyona as a vice president, Mario as a Project Manager, Imanuel as a Assistant Manager & Jeremy
as Director of Finance.

I.2 Background Information


The Background of making this product is because we had seen a lot of people getting mad because of the
regular mask & there is a lot of people as well that find hard to breath using the regular mask. So we decided to
make this as a new version of mask which is a combination between Face Mask & Face Shield.

II. Objectives

II.1 Project Objectives


Make a new types of Medical Mask that can make someone feel comfortable when they wear the IMask & to
help people fight against COVID-19.
All the materials, machines & the agreements between us with the vendors already been made & we all agree
to help each other
III. Scope

III.1 Scope Definition


In order to make the IMask, this is the project scopes that we have to do :
- Gather all the perfect materials in order to make the IMask
- Gather all the machines & other stuff that needed in order to make the IMask
- Gather all the people who had an experiences about making a Face Mask & Face Shield
- Train the workers about how to make the IMask
- Find a perfect place to create a workplace
- Build the workplace for the workers

III.2 Beyond The Scope


List of the things that we don’t need to have in order to make this project :
- Physical Training
- No Work From Home (Work At Workplace)
- E-Learning
III.3 Projected Budget
We already discuss about the cost in 1 year with 100 workers and all the things that needed.
This is the estimate activity cost :
- Labor Cost : IDR 40 Billions

- Material Cost : IDR 13 Billions

- Equipment Cost : IDR 13 Billions

- Facilities Cost : IDR 20 Billions

- Consultant Cost : IDR 1 Billions

- Travel Cost : IDR 4 Billions

- Contingency Cost : IDR 14 Billions


III.4 Risk Assessment
The Risk in this project is product failure, the customer doesn’t meet their needs, some people will say that this
product is too expensive & can’t get a profit to cover the cost

It will be hard to find all the good materials in Medium In order to have a good materials, we will try to
order to make the mask contact the company that have the same
product with us & we will act like a customer, so
we will try to get what materials did they use
and where it came from
The machine and the other stuff that we Medium We will try to find a way to get contact with the
need in order to make the item will not be seller and ask for corporation (if our product is
cheap booming, we will make a discount for the seller
of the companies family if they want to buy)
It will be hard to found the people who have Medium In order to fix this problem , we will try to make
a good skill in making a mask & face shield a good relationship with them, also we will
discuss about the high salary for the workers
The training style will be a little bit different Low We will try to make a group for the workers
because there is still pandemic about the training, example in Monday group 1
will be the one get train, etc.
It will be so hard to finding the perfect place Hard Not really sure about we fixing this but we will
for build the workplace, because we need to make a border house for the workers, so they
make sure that the place had everything that can live in there
they need (such as, if the person live to far
away from work place, its mean they need to
find an Apartment).

IV. Project Assumption

All the teams are ready to do their part which is Ressa as the president with a big responsibilities. Vyona as a
vice president & she already got all the materials, WBS/OBS/RAM. Mario Tampi as a Manager that will train
the workers in order to keep them in the company goals. Imanuel as a Assistant Manager that will help manager
on everything & Jeremy as a director of finance that will control all the money.
V. Constraints

V.1 Project Constraints


- The COVID 19 Pandemic will make the teams / workers hard to do something because we need to follow the
protocol
- The Budget will be not enough to cover all the things that we need
- Because of the COVID 19, it will take a time for the workplace be done
- Because of the law, we need to pay the taxes for importing the machines in order to have a good machines to
make the mask
- We lived in Indonesia & sometimes the blackout happening, its mean it will not be good when the workers is in
the middle of making the product because it can cause a product failure.

VI. Project Management Approach

VI.1 Project Timeline


Gant Project
Initiating of the project begin in 21 May until 28 May 2020
The Planning Part begin in 27 May until 29 May 2020
The Marketing which is Marketing Strategy, Plan, Promotion begin in 1 June until 26 June
The first quarter of the product will be complete & release in the end of July 2020

VI.3 Issues Management

Step 1 : The Manager Shall document all changes to the project scope, schedule, workforce, or cost as soon
as they are discovered.

Step 2 : The Project Manager will evaluate the change and determine the impact on a project before reporting
the issue.

Step 3 : After reviewing and determining the impact, the manager will find a way to fix the problem

Step 4 : After that the manager will meet and discuss the method he got earlier with the president and vice
president
Step 5 : After that the manager will apply the method that has been obtained earlier in order to meet the
deficiencies or problems that were previously agreed upon by the president and vice president.
