User Account / Authentication Settings


1- Access the Kyocera Command Centre RX. ( Command Centre = Enter the IP address of the printer)

2- Login in as “Admin” Enter User Name : Admin Passord : Admin (*A capital) and Press “Login”

Passord : Admin (*A capital)

3- Click on “ Management Settings ”


4- After Clicking on “Management Settings” these options will show,

5- Click on “ Job Accounting ”

Following screen will show


6- Turn ON the “Job Acconting” By default it is OFF To turn it ON click on settings.

 Job Accounting : ON Job Accounting Access : Network


Note: If authention is required on “Network” then click on Network and complete the required information.

 Apply Limit : Immediately

 Unknown ID Job : Reject (Jobs from non registered users will be rejected)

 If user print quota or limit is required then enter the value in “Default Counter Limit”

 After making changes click “Submit”

Now click “Back”

7- Now click on “Add Account”

8- Enter Accont ID, any numeric ID e.g 123456

Change the Print restriction to “Counter Limit” and click “Submit”


Note : Print limit can be set in column. Enter the desired limit. After completing the limit all jobs from the
specified ID will be rejected according to the option selected. (Counter limit OR Reject Usage)

9- After clicking “submit” an account will be created.

10- Multiple user IDs can be created and the usage can be monitored against each ID.
11- In “Management Settings” click on “Authentication”

12- Click on “Settings”

13- Fill the form according to the required information.

14- Click on “Server Settings” and enter the information.
15- In order to create users for authentication printer must be sync with customers Active Directory / LDAP.

The network administrator will fill the form and all the settings required.

16- After completing the form open the control panel from Computer. Devices & Printers and Right click on the
installed Printer Kyocera. Click on Printer Properties.

17- Click on Device Settings.


18- Click on Administrator and then click on User login.

19- Specify the user name and password and click on Add.
In Job accounting option add the Account ID created on the printer in first step and Press OK.

Users can be added in the Groups, Departments and against ID print information can be tracked. Quota and limit
will be applied to the users according to the ID.
