Nouns are the NAMING words for people, place, animals or
things. Example: Girl, school, cat, ball
Proper Nouns are SPECIAL OR SPECIFIC names.
Example: Paris, Radha, Tommy, Harry Potter
Common Nouns are GENERAL names. Example: papa,
park, phone, monkey
Verbs are the ACTION/STATE words: dance, play, think, run,
love
Linking/To Be Verbs are is, are, was were and am
Pronouns are NOUN-REPLACING words. Example: I, you,
he, she, they, we, me
