An adjective is a word that describes the traits, qualities, shape, color,
size, sound, taste, weather, texture or number of a noun.
Remember a noun is a:

Thing an animal
An adjective modifies a noun and are necessary to make the meanings of
sentences clearer or more exact.
Adjectives words give more information about a noun or pronoun and can
go in different positions in a sentence.
