Z: Im Zennith Everingham, the lead writer and a developer for Aremoria. ロ means click
D: My name is Daniel Cooper Gliddon, the animator and editor for
Aremoria’s studio team.
B: My name is Benjamin Forshlager, the music composer for Aremoria’s studio
team.

D: Dear, esteemed judges, I would like to introduce to you: Aremoria. Our IP, the
product of many sleepless nights and what we believe to be the next great hit,
the next big franchise.
Z: To understand why we choose an IP as our product, we need to take you way
back, all the way back to early 2020. ロ The pandemic had just begun and we
were all put under lockdown globally. With nothing to do, nearly everyone
turned to streaming services such as Netflix, which caused a massive boom in
TV and media in general, but what we’re focusing on today, is the Anime
industry. ロ
C: Seemingly overnight, interest in anime more than doubled, increasing by 120%
and stayed there. Friends whom I previously never considered to be anime fans
suddenly came to me asking for recommendations and my school’s Halloweens
were dominated by cosplayers dressing as their favorite characters.
The data shown to you here only includes Google search data, and doesn’t
include data from Instagram and Tik Tok.
D: Few companies have taken advantage of this boom, but one very successful
example, was Genshin Impact. ロ
D: Released at the peak of the anime trend. Genshin Impact quickly rose to the top
of the mobile game market, grossing over a billion US dollars in only half a year
since its release, and that’s not including the revenue of the PC and PlayStation
versions of the game.ロ It quickly rose to become the number 1 mobile game on
both the App and Play stores, quickly surpassing the majority of its competitors
in its first year.
B: We decided to follow the same path Genshin Impact has taken, and create an
anime-style franchise. Our first product stemming from our IP, is… ロ
B: A Trading Card Game!
Z: Aremoria: Of Relics and Magic is our first debut into the TCG landscape. TCGs (or
Trading Card Game) are essentially a genre of card games where players
collect and bring their own cards to fight!
Aremoria: Of Relics and Magic is simple to understand but hard to master. With
hundreds of available cards, the way you play a game will always be new and
interesting. ロ
As our game expands, community of fans will form around our games and
franchise, allowing us to directly interact with our customers. We can open up
tournaments that boost competitiveness and interest.
This also in turn creates a secondary market, which generates value in
individual rare and unique cards, further increasing demand. ロ
D Of course, like with any market, there will be competitors, and anyone who is
familiar with TCGs, would know the big Three. Magic: The Gathering, Pokemon,
and Yu-Gi-Oh.
So how do we compete with these giants? ロ
We have carefully crafted our game to fit a niche that major brands do not. We
focus on newer generations who have less experience with these games. In
addition, we’re riding on the growing interest towards anime by adopting an
anime atheistic.
Magic, Pokemon and YugiOh do not share all of these characteristics, marking
us as different. ロ
C: The competitors that do exist in the same market as us, however, have flaws
that hold them back.
These games include Will TCG, and Weiss Schwarz, which both suffer from a
severe lack of marketing, and Force of Will has lost the trust of the larger TCG
community. We can capitalize on their shortcomings and provide a better
product to the market.
C -Following the release of our TCG, we will release our debut comic: Aremoria:
Rising Cinders, which is completely free to read online.
It will be localized for English, Thai, Japanese, Chinese, and Spanish.
It will available on the following: Webtoon, Twitter and Tapas.
B: Instead of charging money, the purpose of having an online Comic are the
marketing potential.
As it uses our IP, interest in our Comic is interest in our Franchise. An active
viewership allows use to examine our customer base and cater our products to
them. This opens the opportunity to advertise and expand our available
products. Additional sources of income such as ad revenue and merchandise
are open as well.
Z: Here we see our plans for our company and what we’ll do up to the next three
years. We have marked out what is needed to be done, such as finding
publishers and retailers. It is vital that we find a publisher that has access to
retailers, as this would solve two problems at once.
In simpler terms, for the foreseeable future, we’ll focus on expanding and
spreading our Franchise.
ZCDB: Thank you.
