How to setup enable NTP Service

1. Run→gpedit.msc

2. Computer Configuration → Administrative Templates → System →

Windows Time Service→Time Providers→enable→OK

3. Run→gpupdate.

4. Go to control panelÆ Windows Firewall

5. Click on Exceptions then Add Port.

6. Type in NTP in Name box, and type in 123 in Port number box, then please choose
UDP. Then click OK.

How to setup video server NTP Service

1. Open Internet Explorer and access the video server web interface.

2. Go to Date Setting

NVR Server IP Address

3. Enter NVR Server IP Address in this box. Then apply.

IMPORTANT: NTP synchronization function in Windows 2000 is not

compatible with ACTi video server, it is only compatible with Windows XP Pro
and Windows 2003 Server.
