THE LAST DAYS( THE SIGNS OF HIS COMING)

Memory Verse: Mark 13:22-23 & 33

INTRODUCTION

The last days literally means the days before the second coming of Jesus. By the presence of those who
deny the divinity of Christ, we know that we are living in the last days( 2 Timothy 3:1-3).

One of the ways you know someone is authentically a believer is that they never abandon steadfast
discipleship, they persevere in prayers and digging deep in God's words to the end, If you are really
saved, you will not be able to walk away from Jesus (Isaiah 2:2-3, Micah 4:1).

Things that shows the imminent signs of His,[Jesus Christ],coming.

• The absence and rejection of sound doctrine - 1 Timothy 4:1-2, 2 Timothy 4:3-4.

• Recognition of the spirit of Antichrist - 1 John 4:3, 1 john 2:18,19&22-23.

• love of the world more than the love for God- Numbers 11:4-6, Ps 73:3 &12

• Awareness of spiritual deception( False teachings) Matt 7:15-17, Rev 19:20.

• Falsified Signs and wonders- mark 13:22, Matt 24:23-24

• Darkness in the form of light- 2 Corinthians 11:13-14, 1 john 4:1

How to stand firm in the last days

• Resist the Antichrist

2 Corinthians 13:5

Acts 2:42

1 John 2:24-27

• Give your totality to God's doctrine

1 Timothy 4:13-16, because they are life & Power( Luke 4:32).
Consequences (Evil of the last days & the results)

Destruction Matt 24:21, Mark 13:19, 24&25

Desolate Rev 20:9-10

Judgement Rev 20:11-12

Conclusion

If we are going to effectively resist the spirit of the last days, if we are going to be successful as
ambassadors for Christ, it will be because we know we have eternal life and the life we live here will be
lived abundantly for the kingdom of God (Matthew 24:36-44).
