IV. Proposed Venue:

V. Rationale:

Mathematics is a multifaceted discipline. It requires a higher level of thinking skills:

critical, logical, analytical, and manipulative. Why it seems to be a complicated subject for
most students, to excel in mathematics, students must enhance their skills in fundamental
operations and graphic organizers.
The value goes beyond the classroom and schools. Therefore, mathematics as a subject
in school must be learned comprehensively with much depth, as mentioned in the K to 12
curriculum guide. Mathematics has a broader definition that comes from different aspects of
life, and it is not just about numbers, but it is all about the world where living and nonliving
things live.

VI. Objectives and Expected Output:

General Objectives
This project aims to help all students in the Non-numerates and Nearly Numerates
levels to be promoted to the Numerates. At least 50% of them are expected to progress
after the program.

Specific Objectives:

 Promotes students from non-numerates and nearly numerates to numerates

 Remediate/Decline the difficulties of the students in all aspects of four fundamental
operations through intervention materials.
 Arise the interest and intrinsic motivation of the students in learning Mathematics
through intervention programs.
 Improve their knowledge and skills in applying the fundamental operations and
graphs in a real-life situation.
 Ameliorate the instructional materials in teaching and learning mathematics.
 Disseminate the importance of mathematics.

VII. Time Frame:

Year Round (During/Collaborative Learning)

VIII. Participants /Beneficiaries:

This project aims to assess the numeracy level of ______________ od ______________school.

More specifically, it aims to give proper intervention and supportive instruction to the
diagnosed non-numerates.

IX. Project Mechanism/Activities:

1. Develop a School-Based numeracy Assessment or use Project All Numerates

Tool to determine the student's readiness in mathematics.
2. Conduct a Pre-test in numeracy Assessment to grade___ to grade ___.
3. Collect scores and determine the students who are non-numerates.
4. Determine the topics where the students have the least correct answer.
5. Prepare modules and instructional materials to help the students cope with
the topics.
6. Prepare modules and instructional materials to help the students cope with
the topics.
7. Organize a schedule for when to teach the students regarding the topics.
8. Attend seminars and training for the development of the teachers and
students,
9. Train some students who will help the teachers to teach the least learned
lessons.
10. Locate a place where the students will have tutoring sessions, "Math Corner
or Room."
11. Conduct the Post-Test in Numeracy Assessment to Grade _____to Grade
_____.

X. Organizational Management:
Project __________ is proposed by Mathematics Teachers or Math Department
