Residents of Berkeley Heights and

surrounding towns are looking forward

holiday season, just days away: The

annual event entices thousands to
downtown Berkeley Heights each year

friendly activities. It’s the time to gather
in the crisp air with neighbors to enjoy
snacks, photo ops, and entertainment,
all provided by Berkeley Heights
businesses. The 2022 Berkeley Heights
Winter Walk is Saturday, December 3
from 3 to 6 pm in Downtown Berkeley
Heights.

Among the many fun activities and

attractions are an artiacial skating rink,
horse and carriage rides, TWO life-size
snow globes, a trackless train, and visits
with Elsa. Enjoy entertainment,
including live music, dance
performances, strolling characters, and
a deejay. You’ll also and holiday-themed
photo stations; a chance to visit with
Santa and Mrs. Claus; free hot
chocolate, cookies, popcorn, cotton
candy, and other snacks; balloon and
character artists; game trucks; a football
goal challenge and basketball throw;
and so much more! To see the full
roster of activities and entertainment,
visit the Winter Walk website.

Cheri Pertesis, the co-founder of the

Winter Walk and owner of Anything
Floral, said, “The Winter Walk gives the
local business community a chance to
say 'thank you' to the people who
patronize our local businesses all year
long. Businesses contribute money to
sponsor the major attractions, but just
as importantly, present creative
activities and offer freebies at 73 tables
and booths lining Springaeld Avenue
between Snyder and Plainaeld. It’s a
don’t-miss event.”
