ENGLISH DIALOGUE

Members of the group:

Context: Three students must deliver a group homework but it has a missing part from one of the
members (Daniela).

CONSTANZA: Hey! time is running out and I don't see that you have finished your part of the
homework.

NICOLÁS: Come on, DANIELA, you aren´t pulling your weight so we'll kick you out of the group.

DANIELA: No, please, wait, don't rush into anything without first knowing why.

CONSTANZA: He/She's right, we shouldn't jump to conclusions.

NICOLÁS: Ok, we will keep our options open if you give us a good reason.

CONSTANZA: Tell us, DANIELA, Why haven’t you done your part?.

DANIELA: I have been out of the loop on the homework because I was studying all week and
completely forgot it.

NICOLÁS: You shouldn't have forgotten, it's very important!

DANIELA: I'm really sorry, I dropped the ball. I promise to finish it before the weekend.

CONSTANZA: Before the weekend? Are you kidding with us? We must deliver it tomorrow!

DANIELA: Can I deliver my part one day late?.

NICOLÁS: It's out of the question. We must turn in the full homework tomorrow or we will get a
bad grade.

CONSTANZA: It's definitely impossible reach a compromise with you!

DANIELA: Ok, I will end it today.

NICOLÁS: DANIELA, we can't take your word for it, we aren't on the same page.

CONSTANZA: Today is not enough, do it now or we kick you out of the group. Take it or Leave it.

DANIELA: I don’t have any option so I will finish my part now.

NICOLÁS: We'll be here to make sure you comply.
