HADITH:-

The Hadith means “conversation and new thing”. A hadith is report about the sayings, actions, or habits of the
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

SAHIH LIZATIHI (sound in itself):-

One of the main type of Accepted Ahadith is Hadith “Sahih Lizatihi”. Hadith Sahih lizatihi is that which must
have five specific characteristics. Hadith sahih lizatihi is a term used to describe a hadith that is considered
authentic based on its chain of transmission and the reliability of its narrators.

 There are four main characteristics of hadith sahih lizatihi in the light of Usul ul- Hadith.

1. A hadith Sahih Lizatihi is considered to be of the highest quality and is used as a

primary source for Islamic law and practice. One of the main characteristic of hadith
Sahih Lizatihi is that its chain of transmission (isnad) must be uninterrupted and
traceable back to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) .This ensures that the hadith has
been accurately preserved and transmitted through reliable narrators.
2. In the context of a Hadith Sahih Lizatihi, memory plays an important role in the chain
transmission (isnad). The narrators who transmit the Hadith must have strong
memories and be able to accurately recall the words and actions of the Prophet
Muhammad (PBUH) .They must be able to transmit the Hadith verbatim, without
changing or altering any of its content. The reliability of the narrators memories is a
key factor in determining the authenticity of a Sahih Hadith.
3. Hadith Sahih lizatihi should not be rare, as they considered to be the most authentic
and reliable of all Hadith. However, it is important to note that not all hadith are
classified as sahih lizatihi, as this classification requires a rigorous process of verifying
the authenticity of the chain of transmission and the content of the hadith.
4. While a Sahih Hadith is considered to be authentic, there is always the possibility of
hidden flaws in the chain of transmission or in the content of the Hadith itself. Scholars
who specialize in Hadith studies carefully examine the (isnad) and content of each
hadith to identify any potential flaws or weaknesses. However, it is still possible for
some flaws to remain hidden, which is why it is important to approach even sahih
hadith with a critical eye and to seek the guidance of knowledgeable scholars.
