You work for a gothic fiction festival

Your project: Shoot a gothic short film

You have been tasked with writing and directing a short film inspired by gothic fiction.

You may assign roles within your team and decide who is working on what part of the project.

You must:

- Agree on a general idea for the short film

- Write a script that includes traditional gothic tropes
- Draw a basic storyboard (don’t forget to include the type of shots and camera
movements you want to use) (you can use a website like boords.com)
- Scout for locations, prepare props and equipment

Before the premiere each team will have to present their film to the class, explaining where they got
their inspiration, what gothic elements they tried to include, and what their creative process was.

A member of each team will be randomly selected to be on the jury for the festival, and the best
short film will be awarded a prize.
