TOPIC:- Biodiversity and ecosystem loss

Question:- Why humans become the dominant species
In our planet?
Local perspective: how local is affected?
National perspective: how national is affected?

Personal perspective:-
The human species is a dominant animal
and is the only animal that has the ability to use language to
communicate. It's important to note that we only use 4% of our
brain, while we have more than half a million neurons that
connect our brain to the rest of our bod .humans are the
dominant species in the planet because they control every
species in the world
Not only they control other species they also kill other species
for their use.
Humans has an ability to walk with two legs which became an
advantage. Humans have advanced problem-solving abilities,
communication skills, and a capacity for abstract thought. This
abilities made human to create a culture, tradition, rules, laws, etc.
Now humans created technology
And it’s developing day by day. Humans are destroying
farmland, forest , jungle just for place to build houses but people
will never understand that they are destroying homes for other
species. Humans are not the only species who should live in this
planet other species also have rights to live in this planet. There
are more problems which will be discussed in other
perspectives.

Local perspective:-
As humans destroy farmlands ,jungle, forest
for place it affects agriculture. The exploitation of natural
resources such as forests, minerals, and fossil fuels has led to
deforestation, desertification, soil erosion, and air and water
pollution, causing harm to local wildlife, ecosystems, and
human populations. One way in which human dominance has
affected soil types is through land use changes. The expansion
of agriculture, urbanization, and infrastructure development has
led to the conversion of natural landscapes and ecosystems into
human-dominated landscapes. The expansion of agriculture,
urbanization, and infrastructure development has led to the
conversion of natural landscapes and ecosystems into human-
dominated landscapes. This can lead to soil degradation and
erosion, as natural vegetation cover is removed and soil is
exposed to the elements. human activities such as deforestation,
mining, and industrial activities can release pollutants and
chemicals into the soil, which can negatively impact soil health
and productivity. Climate change, driven in part by human
activities such as the burning of fossil fuels, is also affecting soil
types around the world. Rising temperatures and changes in
precipitation patterns can lead to changes in soil moisture and
nutrient availability, which can impact soil health and
productivity. The depth of the soil layer is also important in how
it affects groundwater. In areas with shallow soils, groundwater
recharge can occur more quickly, as water can move more easily
through the soil layer and into the aquifer. In areas with deep
soils, groundwater recharge may occur more slowly, as water
must move through a thicker layer of soil before reaching the
aquifer. So we will have lack of water.
National perspective:-
As we have lack of water , plants will not
able to grow so humans stop eating plants then they depend on
animals by animals like herbivorous will also residue due to lack
of plants. Then we animals too. So
Humans will:-
Conflict and war: Human dominance can also lead to conflict
and war, as nations compete for resources, territory, and power,
leading to violence and instability.
Environmental degradation: As I mentioned earlier, human
dominance can lead to environmental degradation, which can
have significant impacts on national ecosystems and resources,
leading to loss of biodiversity, damage to natural habitats, and
impacts on human health and well-being.
Inequality and injustice: Human dominance can also contribute
to inequality and injustice, as some nations or groups gain power
and resources at the expense of others, leading to economic and
social inequality, political corruption, and human rights abuses.

Global perspective:-
Human dominance has a significant impact
on the global ecosystem and the planet as a whole.
Climate change: Human activities, such as burning fossil fuels,
deforestation, and industrialization, have significantly
contributed to global climate change, leading to rising
temperatures, sea level rise, and more frequent extreme weather
events.
Biodiversity loss: Human activities, such as habitat destruction,
pollution, and overfishing, have led to significant declines in
global biodiversity, with many species becoming endangered or
going extinct.
Resource depletion: Human dominance has led to the
overconsumption of natural resources, such as freshwater,
minerals, and fossil fuels, leading to depletion and scarcity of
these resources.
Air and water pollution: Human activities, such as
industrialization and transportation, have led to significant air
and water pollution, impacting human health and the health of
ecosystems.
Globalization: Human dominance has led to globalization, with
increased trade, communication, and travel across borders,
which has had both positive and negative impacts on global
economies, cultures, and societies.
Overall, human dominance has had a significant impact on the
planet and its ecosystems, leading to both positive and negative
outcomes. It is important for humans to recognize the impacts of
their actions and work together to promote sustainable practices,
protect biodiversity and natural resources, and mitigate the
negative impacts of human activity on the planet.
Here are some of my solution to prevent Human dominant:-
1.Conservation and preservation: Promoting conservation and
preservation of natural habitats and ecosystems can help to
protect biodiversity and prevent further habitat destruction.

2.Sustainable agriculture and forestry: Encouraging sustainable

agricultural and forestry practices can help to reduce
deforestation, promote soil health, and protect natural resources.

3.Renewable energy: Investing in renewable energy sources,

such as solar, wind, and hydroelectric power, can help to reduce
greenhouse gas emissions and promote a more sustainable
energy system.

4.Green transportation: Encouraging the use of public

transportation, biking, and walking, as well as the adoption of
electric or hybrid vehicles, can help to reduce the carbon
footprint of transportation.

5.Reduce waste and pollution: Promoting waste reduction,

recycling, and the use of sustainable products can help to reduce
pollution and waste, protecting natural resources and
ecosystems.
Note:-We need to stop being selfish so we save our earth.
This is my opinion..
