SUMMARY
In todays microteaching presentation we have discussed about the lecture method of teaching. Under this topic we have seen the definition of the lecture
method , its domain and the purposes of lecture method in teaching. We have also discussed about the plan or structure of the lecture method which include
three parts that is the introduction, body of the content and the conclusion. Then we have discussed about factors that affect the planning of the lecture method
as well as we have discussed the various advantages and disadvantages of the lecture method.

CONCLUSION
Lecture method is the oldest method of teaching based at on the philosophy of idealism and is an autocratic style of teaching. e of this method is to achieve
cognitive and affective objectives. The main focus of this method is on the presentation of content as a whole. The teacher talks continuously to the class and
students learn better through listening. Lecture method is a teaching method in which information is presented orally to a class with a minimal amount of
class participation. The main purposes of the lecture method are: Stimulate thinking in students, develop concentration in students, achieve a very high order of
cognitive objectives. Influence learners to inculcate the habits of listening and learning. Introduce new content in the classroom.
