In the short video that you have watched you could see the Mena family and their activities during the
week and at the weekend. What are your daily routines on weekdays? What do you do at weekends?
What do you like about your daily routine? What don't you like about it? Do you do similar activities to
the ones the Mena family do?

The Medina/Slipak family

We are the Medina/Slipak family, We live in the neighborhood of San Cristobal in CABA.
I’m Eric Medina and I’m 40 years old. I’m a psychologist and work in a hospital four times a week. My
girlfriend's name is Elizabeth, She’s 28 years old and is a law student, also works during the week in a
real estate agency. We have three dogs, their names are Priscila, Mentita and Fideo . We love them!
On weekdays, I get up early at 7 am, make breakfast, usually coffee with cookies, and leave home at
7:30 am to go to work. I always have lunch at work and then come back home. In the afternoon I like to
read a book or watch a series while drinking mate. Then I go out with my dogs to the square near my
house and we walk. At night I cook dinner, I really like to cook!.
Elizabeth gets up at 8:30 am, She makes breakfast and watches TV. Then she gives the food to our pets
and goes for a walk with them. She leaves home for her work at 9:30 and 3 times a week she goes to the
university and comes home at night very tired!
On weekends we usually get up at 10 am, make our breakfast, generally drink mate with toast in the
bed. Our routine is very varied, during the day sometimes we stay at home doing renovations and other
times we go shopping or visit my family who lives in zarate. At night we go to eat at a restaurant or get
together with friends.
