Kiến thức về đại từ sở hữu (Possessive Pronouns) cần nhớ 

Trong tiếng Anh possessive pronouns có nghĩa là những đại từ sở hữu. Đại từ sở

hữu dùng để làm gì? Đó là những từ nào? 

Đại từ sở hữu là các từ như mine, hers, his, theirs… (tương ứng với các đại từ nhân
xưng trong tiếng Anh). Đại từ sở hữu dùng để chỉ sự sở hữu. Khi dùng đại từ sở hữu,
chúng ta tránh được lỗi lặp từ, diễn đạt dài dòng.  

Ví dụ: This cake is mine. (Chiếc bánh này là của tôi.) 

Mine là 1 đại từ sở hữu và thay vì nói This cake is my cake, ta dùng mine thì người
nghe vẫn hiểu mine = my cake.
